Bridging families is an Organization that delivers various forms of training and development programmes aimed at supporting the whole family.

Who We Are

Bridging Families Group consists of Bridging Families CIC and Bridging Families Ghana. Bridging Families CIC is a UK based social enterprise and Bridging Families Ghana is an (Non-Governmental Organisation-NGO) that empowers families in low income communities to flourish and in turn build their communities. The target groups are parents, young girls and women. We have projects in UK and in Ghana.

We launched in 2017 in the UK with grants from London Community Foundation, Awards For All and Santander Bank. We launched our first international project in Ghana in February 2018. Amma, the founder of Bridging Families has taught family learning courses in a college here in the UK.

Congratulations to Amma Frimpong, the founder of Bridging Families for winning the Mary Seacole Award for outstanding contribution to diversity and inclusion. The Mary Seacole Award is sponsored by Health Education England.

The winner of the Mary Seacole Award, Amma Frimpong’s outstanding contribution to diversity and inclusion in the UK and Ghana is commendable as she is very enthusiastic, committed and inclusive in her work with families.  

Bridging families has an impact at the local, national and global level. The work undertaken for this award is expected to raise the national profile of equality and diversity and redress health inequalities.
