The COVID-19 pandemic and the associated social and economic downturn are undermining children's educational and development outcomes in Ghana. This is having a disproportionate effect on vulnerable groups, particularly in disadvantaged communities such as Nima in Maamobi, where Achievers Ghana, an NGO (Non Governmental Organisation) looks after girls to enable them to continue with their education. These risks will be exacerbated especially in overcrowded communities such as Nima.
Bridging families rose to the challenge and donated hand sanitizers and masks to children and young people of Achievers Ghana.

Bridging Families CIC is a UK based social enterprise and Bridging Families Ghana is an (Non-Governmental Organisation-NGO) that empowers families in low income communities to flourish and in turn build their communities. The target groups are parents, young girls and women. We have projects in UK and in Ghana.
